Martin Mosteiro Romero
Aresty Research Assistant 2007 – 2008
Martin graduated from Rutgers with a BS in Bioenvironmental Engineering. He has just finished his first year in the Master in Energy Science and Technology degree program at the ETH Zurich in Switzerland. Martin is also working in an internship in his home country of Argentina, doing research for the Renewable Energy Sector of the largest energy company in the country, ENARSA, until the end of 2011. He plans to begin his thesis work at the ETH Zurich in the spring of 2012.
Amit Chaudhari

Amit is currently in his second year in the MD/PhD program at NJMS-UMDNJ.
Christine Mau
Aresty Summer Science 2010
Christine is currently in medical school at UMDNJ-NJMS in Newark. After graduating from Rutgers early, she worked with Johnson & Johnson and did some traveling before deciding to go to medical school.
Daniel O’Sullivan
Aresty Summer Science 2008
After graduating from Rutgers in 2011, Daniel now lives in New York and works as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in the Department of Health Evidence and Policy. He is working with Dr. Lawrence Kleinman to enhance analytical and statistical techniques used in comparative effectiveness research. He is also planning to apply to medical school this year, and hopes to begin in the fall of 2012.
Alexander Sood

Alex is currently in a PhD program at UC Berkeley, studying experimental particle physics. For Alex, this research interest began in the Aresty Summer Science Program where he worked with Dr. Sunil Somalwar in the Department of Physics & Astronomy.

Samar is a medical student at the Perleman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in the medical scientist training program.
Prasannah Ashokkumar

Prasannah lives in New York City and is working for as a financial analyst for a Japanese bank, Nomura Securities. In the future, she is hoping to earn her MBA.

Rohan graduated from Rutgers in May of 2011 and is working at Seton Hall University as a Residence Coordinator.
Megha Rajpal
Aresty Summer Science 2008
Megha graduated from Rutgers within three years with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. She spent time working as a scribe at the Somerset Medical Center emergency department building on her valuable skill set developed through her time at Rutgers and with the Aresty Research Center. Megha is now a medical student at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Christine Leshko
Aresty RA 2006 – 2007
After graduating from Rutgers with a BA in psychology, Christine was hired as a program coordinator with the RU FAIR NSF ADVANCE grant and started a part-time graduate program in psychology at Rutgers-Camden. She is now in graduate school at Michigan State University specializing in Animal Studies and Environmental Science. Her research interests include climate change, attitudes toward companion animals, and the development of invasive species.
Calvin Lai

Calvin is a PhD student in social psychology at the University of Virgina. He is currently researching thoughts and feelings outside of conscious awareness.
Sean Yeager

Sean graduated from Rutgers in 2011 and is now in a graduate program on fellowship at Texas A&M University studying experimental high energy particle physics.
Molly Zhang
Aresty Summer Science 2008
Molly graduated from Rutgers in 2010 with her degree in public health. She is now pursuing a Masters in Health Administration at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. As a part of this program, Molly is working within a full-time administrative residency with San Francisco Health Plan.
Amanda Giesler
Aresty RA 2008 – 2009
Amanda is a graduate student at East Tennessee State University studying paleontology. In addition to working on her thesis and taking classes, she is also a TA for introductory geology courses. During the summer of 2010, she dug at the Gray Fossil Site and in the fall, worked for the NSF GK-12. During the summer of 2011, Amanda was able to travel to Beijing, China on an NSF EAPSI grant researching Pleistocene rodents of southern Chinese caves. Her Masters will focus on the paleo-ecology and taphonomy of late Pleistocene cervids from a local Tennessee cave.
Michael Llewellyn

Michael is in his first year at the Thomas Jefferson School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from Rutgers in 2009, Michael worked for the genetics department with Dr. Andy Brooks before heading off to graduate school.
Annie Humphrey
Aresty RA 2006 – 2007
Annie was a first-generation college student and discovered her passion for medieval history through the Aresty RA program. Through her research work with Dr. James Masschaele, who served as her faculty mentor, and her coursework with Dr. Camilla Townsend, she learned of her aptitude for historical scholarship. During her junior year Annie studied at University College in Cork, Ireland, and in her senior year wrote a 100-page senior thesis. In 2009 she graduated from Rutgers summa cum laude.
Annie has just completed her Master of Arts in Medieval Studies at the University of Connecticut, where she was able to present at three conferences. She is in the process of pursuing a program suited to her interests to earn her PhD.
Angela S. Rim

Angela is currently a graduate student at NYU Steinhardt, pursuing her M.A. in Biology Education.
