Ready to take the next step? Publish your research! There are journals at Rutgers and beyond that publish undergraduate work.
AT RUTGERS
A Posteriori
A Posteriori is a student-run publication that publishes a printed and online undergraduate research journal every spring. The journal serves two main purposes: to introduce students to the wide variety of research opportunities and projects in various disciplines available at Rutgers, and to recognize undergraduate contributions to academic and professional fields. Most importantly, the journal is interdisciplinary - humanities, social sciences, science, and math research articles are all welcome. If you are a current Rutgers University undergraduate in good standing and have completed a research paper, either through a thesis program, independent study, class, or independently, then you are eligible to have your work published in A Posteriori. For additional information, please contact
aposteriorijournal@gmail.com.
Dialogues@RU
Dialogues@RU provides Rutgers students with a multi-disciplinary forum for the presentation of their research writing. The journal gives students at the beginning of their academic careers the opportunity to publish their research in a peer-reviewed forum, and to experience writing as far more than an assignment that fulfills a course requirement. For the past three years, the journal has awarded a $500 award for Best Essay, and two $250 awards for Distinguished Essay. Dialogues@RU is open to submissions from students in all 100-, 200-, and 300-level classes throughout the university. For more information, please contact Skiles Howard.
