Summer Research Highlights

The Aresty Summer Science Program fosters a truly interdisciplinary community of researchers that would be hard to cultivate elsewhere. These students live together, discuss their research together, and share challenges together. Over the course of the summer, they build a network across schools and disciplines that would be almost impossible to construct outside this program.

Our 63 first-year students this summer are working across the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. Their abstracts are available here to give you an idea of the impressive work they have been contributing to for the past 8 weeks.

The Summer Science Program is coming to a close this Friday, July 29. Please join us at our poster session, 10:30am-1pm at Busch Student Center, MPR. All are welcome. Thanks to all the mentors, staff, and students who make this program possible.
