Faculty Deadline: Research Assistant Program

Friday, February 23, 2018 (All day)

The Aresty Center serves faculty by advertising research projects, helping to identify strong undergraduate researchers, and guiding students toward structured, professional engagement with research. Our success supporting undergraduates depends on the strength of our faculty mentors.

For faculty of all disciplines, the Aresty Research Assistant program pairs rising sophomores, juniors and seniors with little or no experience, to research projects over the academic year. Students selected for the program do five hours of research per week (or more by arrangement with their professor). Selected students also attend two 60-minute peer group meetings per month with other undergraduate researchers to practice scholarly communication, explore research ethics, design posters, and discuss research methodology. More information on designing a project can be found here. You can also create a new project or replicate an existing one.

Submissions are due Friday, February 23rd.
