Sarthak Patel

Sarthak is a senior in the SAS Honors Program who is double majoring in Genetics and Economics. He previously worked as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) recipient in Dr. Bonnie Firestein’s lab on a project investigating a protein complex associated with PSD-95, a post-synaptic protein. Currently he is an undergraduate researcher at CINJ working in Dr. Justin’s Drake lab on a project related to identifying therapeutic targets for different prostate cancer phenotypes. Specifically he is focusing on the role of a kinase called MSK2 in castration resistant prostate cancer.
