Undergraduate Research Journal (RURJ)

The Aresty Research Center is currently in the process of developing the official Rutgers Undergraduate Research Journal (RURJ) and is looking for your involvement! This journal will be a platform to the plethora of undergraduate research being conducted here at Rutgers University, and provide undergraduates the opportunity to publish on their own accord. The journal is still undergoing development, but Aresty is holding a class this Fall 2019 semester with the purpose of teaching students how to review submissions for eventual publication onto the journal.

Additionally, because the class will be taught by undergraduate students, you may have the opportunity to teach the class yourself the following fall semester! We intend to operate on sort of a cyclic system which is as follows:

  • Possible total of 2.5 credits for the Fall and Spring semester (please inquiry)
  • Involved students are now certified to teach the class in the fall should they want to get more involved in the process*

*Following this class, students will participate in a program during the spring semester where they will implement what they learn and review the submissions for publication onto the journal.

We are more than happy to chat with you to answer any questions or concerns you may have. For more information and any questions, please email Frederric Kelada at fk192@scarletmail.rutgers.edu.
