Congratulations to Tanvi Banota- Society of Toxicology (SOT) Undergraduate Research Award Recipient
Aresty Research Center sends a warm congratulations to Tanvi Banota, current Peer Instructor and Undergraduate Editor for the Aresty Rutgers Undergraduate Research Journal at the Aresty Research Center, for being awarded the 2021 Society of Toxicology (SOT) Undergraduate Research Award. This award was given to 11 students for outstanding pre-baccalaureate students whose research abstracts were accepted for presentation at the SOT Annual Meeting.
Tanvi presented her findings “Farnesoid X Receptor Regulates Immune Cell Activation and Recruitment to the Lung Following Exposure of Mice to Nitrogen Mustard” to attendees around the world in March 2021 at the SOT Annual Meeting (one of the largest toxicology conference and exposition in the world). She was working under the mentorship of faculty mentor Dr. Debra Laskin at Rutgers University.
