Congratulations to a former Aresty Research Assistant for his pursuit of a PhD with the Rutgers Presidential Fellowship!
Shane was advised under Annalisa Scacchioli, an assistant teaching professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), while he was in the Aresty RA program. Shane Le Compte received the Rutgers University Presidential Fellowship after completing his BS and MS degree in 2021 and 2022. Le Compte will be studying the Basics of Computational Fluid Dynamics with Professor Prosenjit Bagchi from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Outside of school, Le Compte was involved in the Mason Gross band program at Rutgers. Le Compte hopes to teach at a university and conduct his own research in the future.
