Congratulations to Aresty Students Julianne Chan & Anisha Jackson
Congratulations to former Aresty Summer Science Research Assistants Julianne Chan & Anisha Jackson on being selected as 2 of the 4 Goldwater Scholars, a prestigious national honor for undergraduates who plan to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering. Julianne Chan is also a current Aresty Peer Instructor and Senior Peer Reviewer of the Aresty Rutgers Undergraduate Research Journal.
It is the 19th consecutive year that Rutgers-New Brunswick students have been selected as Goldwater Scholars, which awards recipients up to $7,500 to help cover costs associated with room and board, tuition, fees and books. Winners were chosen from a pool of more than 5,000 college sophomores and juniors nominated by 446 academic institutions.
