We are pleased to announce our application portal for the 2022 Summer Science Program will open on January 15th.

The Aresty Summer Science Research Program is an intensive, full-time research experience for Rutgers-New Brunswick rising sophomores only. Students are matched with faculty mentors from a diverse array of scientific disciplines. Participants learn about the research process by working with their mentors in the laboratory and participating in library workshops, professional development seminars, and social events. Summer experiences often lead to involvement in research during the subsequent academic year.

  • Rising sophomores must apply by Monday, February 7th at 11:59PM for consideration to partake in the Aresty Summer Science Research Program.
  • Each participant receives a stipend of $3,000.
  • The program culminates in a public poster session, where each student will present their research to family, friends, and faculty.
  • On Campus Housing TBD
