Undergraduate Research Symposium
Each spring, the Aresty Research Center hosts a universitywide Undergraduate Research Symposium where students have the opportunity to present their research.
One of the Largest Undergraduate Research Celebrations in the Country
A celebration of scholarship and creative activity, the Undergraduate Research Symposium is a chance for undergraduates to present a paper or poster on their findings to an audience of faculty, peers, and corporate and community partners. The research presentations span the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and arts. This unique event, which is one of the largest undergraduate research celebrations in the country, is a rare opportunity to engage with some of the most exciting research at Rutgers all in one place.
Before You Present, Attend a Workshop
Aresty will be hosting virtual abstract writing/poster design workshops for students planning to present at the 21st Annual Undergraduate Symposium on April 25, 2025. Current and past research assistants and summer science students are not required to attend the workshops.
Abstract writing workshops are intended to help students learn how to write effective abstracts and identify the elements of successful posters. You will need to bring a draft of your abstract to this workshop.
Poster design workshops allow students to present their posters to fellow peers and discuss images and content revision.
Note: Workshop dates to be announced.
